Pathological Demand Avoidance is a disorder related to, but notably different from, Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. It is characterized by pervasive and extreme anxiety that drives the PDA child or parent to avoid demands placed upon them at almost any costs. It is practically unknown here in the U.S.. But it needs to be known, because children suffer daily with PDA. The goal of this blog is to promote Pathological Demand Avoidance awareness in the U.S..
